The building is completely constructed from Irish grown timber, predicatively spruce and larch. All structural timber is strength specified. External cladding is ship lath larch from caoilte forest in Co. Kilkenny.

This is a modern 350sqm house built on an exposed site on the fore shore. External walls and floors are formed from eco-cem reinforced concrete with 50% ground granulated blastfurance slag (ggbs).
